“I love and trust my doctor, but it’s so nice to feel like I’m informed enough to ask questions and participate in my own healthcare.”
“We’re pretty skeptical of medical intervention, but we also know it has a place. Seeing both ‘sides’ laid out next to each other was insanely helpful.”
Most pregnant people fall
into one of three camps.

Procrastination
You keep meaning to look into it. But every time you start to scroll, there’s just too much, so you close it down and tell yourself you’ll “go with the flow.” Except your nervous system isn’t wired that way. The what-ifs pile up, and they’re paralyzing.
Perfectionism
You want to do this right. So you’ve read everything, saved every reel, and now the horror stories and hot takes have you second-guessing all of it. You can’t tell what’s relevant to you or what’s normal, so you spiral.
People pleasing
You respect modern medicine. The system doesn’t always respect you back. You believe in informed consent and shared decision making, buuuuut you don’t want to come across as “difficult” with providers you like.
What they all have in common:
It’s not your fault.
Our culture loves to tell women what they’re doing wrong (especially when it comes to motherhood). Except there’s not one “right” way to birth a baby.
There’s only what’s right for you.
A planner
You wish you had time for every class and every book, and you’re doing your best to protect your heart by releasing expectation.
A sensitive soul
You’ve faced fertility challenges, loss, birth trauma, or mental health challenges, or you simply want to be cared for as a whole person.
Justice-minded
You want birth prep that centers your right to the full spectrum of options for your body, your birth, your baby.

1 in 3
birthing people in the U.S. experience their birth as traumatic*
and research shows that has more to do with how they’re treated than the clinical outcome.

Do I have icky feelings about AI in general? Yup. But I also recognize the benefits, and it gave me the tools to build something I know can help a lot of people. As in birth (and in life), nothing is absolute.
The app runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. You’ll need a free Claude account to use it, but there’s nothing extra to buy.
AI does the pattern recognition and synthesizing. I did everything else: verified the evidence, added real-life nuance, and structured the process down to the smallest detail. It’s taken me years to refine (with feedback from real life people) and months to package.
I don’t collect, see, or store anything you enter.
Your answers never touch my servers (in fact, I don’t even have servers). Your plan is generated by your own Claude account, and governed by your account settings. The trade-off is a few extra steps to save your work as you go — I walk you through it during onboarding.
My philosophy
You are the boss of your body, your family, and your birth—and you were never meant to do any of this alone. Autonomy and support. You need both.
What I do
Nearly a decade into birthwork, I’m a Minnesota-based doula, Evidence Based Birth Instructor®, and gender justice advocate. I’m also “mom” to two daughters.
of birthing people in the U.S. experience their birth as traumatic.
That’s a systems-level problem, and systems take time to change—but you’re pregnant today. My goal is to help you navigate the system, as it is, so that you can look back on your birth story with power, love, and awe.

For a limited time, Ready Enough is $27 instead of $47, because I want your feedback. As one of the first families to use it, you’ll help shape the next version, and you get lifetime access, including every update, even after the price goes up.
Most classes cover the basics: anatomy, the stages of labor, common interventions, and a comfort measure or two. All super important, but not always the most practical. Ready Enough helps you filter that information through your own values, context, and beliefs—then take action from that place, in full partnership with your provider, so you have full access to both autonomy and support in labor.
Nope. I would LOVE for you to take a comprehensive birth education class, but this curriculum stands on its own. Whether you haven’t even started thinking about birth prep or you’ve read entire textbooks, you’ll get what you need out of this.
Good providers want you to be an active participant in your healthcare. When a birth plan is made thoughtfully and structured well, it becomes a tool for communication, collaboration, and consent. Specifics can flex, but your preferences should cover so much more than clinical choices. They also tell your team what makes you feel safe and supported, which gives them invaluable information for providing truly individualized care (the human connection piece that drove most of them into this in the first place!).
Yes. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, a waterbirth, c-section, induction, unmedicated, hospital, or home birth, all birth options are affirmed here.
Anytime between 20 and 40+ weeks. Starting earlier gives you more time to explore and have conversations, so don’t let being early stop you from starting.
No. Ready Enough is here to help you prepare for and communicate in conversations with your care team, not to replace them.
The guarantee
7days
to decide. Full refund, any reason.
If you’re not 100% satisfied with the app within 7 days, I will offer you a full refund for any reason.
That means you can get instant access today, and you don’t even have to decide if you’re in for good. Take the full 7 days to explore Ready Enough, and then make a decision using the information you have, rather than the information you don’t.
We never have complete control. But you do have agency.
In less time than it takes to spiral down the black hole that is Google, you can get clear on what matters to you, understand your real options, and know how to talk to the people in the room. That’s the whole game.
And it’s exactly what Ready Enough gives you.
“I truly mean it when I say that this all captured how I feel and what I hope for perfectly. I can’t wait for the day it all comes into play.”
